Duty to God and duty to country go hand-in-hand.

How can you live out your duty and discipleship?

Discussion Small Groups

No chapel, no chaplain = super-duper sad and disappointing, but no problem if you are not afraid to gather two or three during lunch, in the dorm community space, at the chapel center, or around a dining room table. Games, food, discussion topics or just conversation. All good!

Spiritual PT sessions

Combining physical training and soul training just makes sense. Giving it all in physical pursuits, personal goal setting, or group support can all be made more meaningful if done for a supernatural purpose. We all have someone to pray for; sweat and pray.

Mini-sessions

One hour, two hours, half a day… One time only, monthly, or short term weekly, mini sessions can create spaces for intellectual interest and development of harder questions concerning the “Why’s” of life. Create a safe space to dive into lessons and discuss deeper topics..

Chapel programs

It may be that your chapel or chaplain has programs just itching for someone to practice their leadership skills. Volunteer for an existing program or ask to reserve space at the chapel for a small group.

Vocation specific

Single or Married? Considering a vocation? Looking for a spouse? Want support to be the best spouse you can be? Vocation specific initiatives create resilience through stronger relationships on the homefront.

Retreats from the daily grind

Uh, yes you can. Plan an overnight with a few people, pick a theme, organize talking points, and then find a destination. If you have a purpose aligned with the activity, it is elevated to creating community and growing understanding about purpose in life to propel your future.
